A FACE devoid of love or grace,
A hateful, hard, successful face,
A face with which a stone
Would feel as thoroughly at ease
As were they old acquaintances,—
First time together thrown.


一張沒有愛與恩典的顏面，
一張憎恨，冷酷，功成名就
 的臉，
一張立即感覺到硬如堅石的
 臉
就如同他們一向如此 –
   從開始就總合丟入。
