Meizhou's first integrated medical and elderly care hospital launched

The large-scale free consultation activities of the medical community unit of Meizhou Second Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital and the launching ceremony of Meizhou Yicheng Integrated Medical and Elderly Care Hospital were recently held in Dami Village, Changsha Town, Meijiang District. The newly built Meizhou Yicheng Integrated Medical and Elderly Care Hospital is the first integrated medical and elderly care hospital in Meizhou. In the future, it will build a medical community with the city's second traditional Chinese medicine hospital to provide high-quality medical and elderly services for the grassroots.
Meizhou Yicheng Integrated Medical and Elderly Care Hospital, occupied an area of about 10 mu, has departments of Chinese medicine, rehabilitation, internal medicine and other departments. It will establish a medical community two-way referral platform with the city’s second hospital. The hospital will open a "green channel" for critically ill patients and promote high-quality medical resources to serve the public.
After the launching ceremony, the No. 2 Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Meizhou Yicheng Integrated Medical and Elderly Care Hospital carried out large-scale free consultation activities. Medical staff and volunteers from Changsha Town also visited Zhong Guocai and other five impoverished households to provide them with free physical examinations and establish health files.
