The launching ceremony of Qingdao-SCO Enterprises Alliance for Integrated Development and Uzbekistan National Commodity Raw Materials Exchange was held on the afternoon of December 29, 2021. Co-sponsored by the Qingdao Municipal Finance Bureau and the SCO Demonstration Zone, the event was attended by over 400 enterprises from Qingdao and Uzbekistan via online and offline channels.
The Qingdao-SCO Enterprises Alliance for Integrated Development, as a non-profit organization with an independent legal person status registered in the administration area of Qingdao and operating by law, is composed of enterprises which do import and export business with the SCO member states, commerce chambers and industrial associations and scientific research institutions. The alliance, which is designed to become a service platform, will provide member enterprises with a wide range of services including policy consultation, business training, market exploitation, legal support, language translation, promotion and presentation as well as international exchange etc.
According to Masutov Aziz, consul-general of Uzbekistan in Shanghai, the founding of the Qingdao-SCO Enterprises Alliance for Integrated Development and getting the Uzbekistan National Commodity Raw Materials Exchange located in Qingdao hold great significance for promoting economic and trade cooperation between Qingdao and Uzbekistan at the local level. Uzbekistan attached greater importance to economic cooperation with China when the COVID-19 still rages the world. The Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Shanghai roots for the decision that the Uzbekistan National Commodity Raw Materials Exchange has settled down in Qingdao and will create favorable conditions for bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
