Internet-based new medical technologies were unveiled at the 2020 Internet Expo in the east China town of Wuzhen.A mini program launched by Tencent can evaluate a patient's body and provide a personalized solution.By scanning the photo of a patient, the system can transform physical check-ups and translate the body features into digital information and store it in the terminal for comparison with data about similar cases and, through AI algorithms, judge whether the patient has any problems in physical conditions."People used to store their experiences in their own minds. But now, we can integrate all these resources in a cloud brain. Therefore, medical resources can be shared. For hospitals and medical institutions, this will help them to provide one-stop service for users, which will give both sides better experience. These are the conveniences brought about by digitalization," said Zhou Daizhou, staff member of the Tencent exhibition booth.Internet can encourage the flow of high-quality medical resources from cities to rural areas. Both online medical consultations and the setting-up of online hospitals improve the situation of inadequacy of medial resources in poverty-stricken areas, saving money directly or indirectly for patients.
