As an extension of Fuzhou's walking road system, the Jidao flyover across Jiangbinzhong Avenue is expected to be completed before the Spring Festival next year. Fuzhou citizens can directly walk from Guangming Port Park to Jiangbin Park with Jidao flyover. It is worth mentioning that the project has a river view platform with an area of about 100 square meters, which allows Fuzhou citizens to overlook the river view.

Jidao flyover is located near the intersection of Jiangbinzhong Avenue and Yingjiang Road in Taijiang District, Fuzhou. According to Li Xiang, the project leader, the north side of the flyover is located on the axis where the Jin'an River joins the Minjiang River. After crossing the Jiangbinzhong Avenue, the south side will be set on the north bank of the Minjiang River and be connected to the Jiangbin Park.

According to the introduction, the main bridge of the Jidao flyover is 66.4 meters in length, and the bridge deck is 8 meters in width. It adopts an all-steel structure with a white aluminum baffle. The Jidao flyover will be built as a landscape bridge with viewing steps and terrazzo on the bridge deck. The bridge will be like a park trail decorated with garden landscapes on both sides of the bridge deck and flowers in all seasons to create a garden-like passage.

The flyover is mainly white in the daytime, and at night it becomes a "luminous bridge" which will be a landmark bridge during the night near the Minjiang River.

The overlooking platform is a highlight of the construction. It is understood that the project will build a 12.5-meter-long, 100-square-meter cantilevered viewing platform on the north bank of the Minjiang River on the Jidao flyover. After the Jidao flyover is completed, it will be more convenient for surrounding residents to go to the Jiangbin Park.  (Li Jinqing)
