Qingdao and Silicon Valley have a cross-Pacific
dialogue on industries of the future

A cross-Pacific dialogue between Qingdao and Plug and Play, a top-level incubating institution in Silicon Valley, America was held virtually on October 10. In the matchmaking conference on industrial lines of the future, two American projects have been signed, 5 projects in the cutting-edge fields of artificial intelligence, block chain and industrial internet, which accurately suit the industrial features of Qingdao, were subject to online roadshows, aiming at accumulating capacity and force for the industries of the future in Qingdao.
It is said that this is the third time that such a dialogue under the theme of industries of the future has been held over the year on the platform jointly set up by Qingdao and PNP from America. The first intimate contact took place in Silicon Valley last year. Afterwards, Qingdao municipal government and American PNP company signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation on May 20, 2020. The global innovation ecology platform forged by both parties has started displaying positive effect over the year.
On the matchmaking day, Qingdao Laoshan district government signed memorandums of cooperation with GT Cardio and Airacer respectively on wearable health monitoring equipment project and general aviation industrial digitization platform project. “Qingdao, an important city in Northern China, is a good place for us to set up the big data platform for general aviation industry. Providing full support, Laoshan district is creating a comfortable business environment for us.” Wang Wen, founder of Airacer, said about the reason for teaming up with Qingdao.
