QINGDAO, China, July 16 (Xinhua) -- The Beijing Ducks overcame the Shenzhen Aviators 90-81 in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) here on Thursday, expanding its winning streak to seven games.
Liu Hongjiang, the team leader of Shenzhen, got two technical fouls and was ejected out from the game as he roared toward the referees for dissent in the first quarter.
Shenzhen built a 13-7 lead after the tip-off, but Jeremy Lin scored 11 points and helped Beijing to obtain the lead instead.
The scores were close in the second quarter, with Beijing leading by six points when the first half expired.
The Ducks enlarged the margin to 11 points after Ekpe Udoh made a driving layup at the buzzer of the third quarter, in which Lin contributed 12 points.
Beijing maintained the lead until the end, with Fang Shuo scoring 10 points, including two three-pointers, in the last quarter.
Lin grabbed a game-high 29 points and four rebounds for Beijing, Zhai Xiaochuan collected 15 points, and Fang finished with 14 points.
On the Shenzhen side, Yang Linwei got a team-high 20 points, center Shen Zijie took 15 points along with six rebounds, and Li Muhao added 14 points. Enditem
