UPPER MARLBORO, Md. (AP) — Authorities say no threats have been found at Six Flags America in Prince George's County after the amusement park was closed because of a bomb threat.

County Fire Department spokesman Mark Brady tweeted that county fire and police were at the amusement park in Upper Marlboro on Wednesday while the bomb squad investigated. He says members of the squad determined that two suspicious packages were not explosive.

Brady says a secondary search of the park turned up no additional concerns.

The park usually opens at 10:30 a.m. Park spokesman Roberto Baez confirmed that the park received a bomb threat and that the park had closed. Six Flags tweeted that the park had reopened at 3 p.m. and would stay open until 8 p.m.
