Universal Studios Hollywood seeks zombies for new attraction
    2016-05-06 03:06:19           Web Editor:

LOS ANGELES (AP) — A Southern California theme park is looking for a few good — zombies.

Universal Studios Hollywood is casting a new attraction based on the hit TV series "The Walking Dead."

The park is looking for 100 actors to portray either zombies or survivors.

However, more than 1,000 people are expected to audition Thursday and Friday at the park.

Auditions are by appointment only and applicants are being told NOT to wear makeup or costumes.

And just a note: would-be zombies should plan on getting their own lunch.

The "Walking Dead" attraction is expected to open this summer. The park has had temporary Halloween mazes based on the series but this will be its first year-round attraction.
