The “Queen of Butterflies” Returns: Teinopalpus aureus Recorded for a Second Consecutive Year at Liuxi River National Forest Park

Lingnan: Beauty Beyond Borders | The “Queen of Butterflies” has returned! Recently, staff at Liuxi River National Forest Park in Guangzhou recorded Teinopalpus aureus, a butterfly species listed as a Class I nationally protected wild animal in China, as part of a biodiversity survey. This marks the second consecutive year the species has been recorded at the park, following its first recorded sighting there in 2025.

“蝶中皇后”再度亮相！近日，广州市流溪河国家森林公园工作人员在野外开展生物多样性调查时，再次发现国家一级保护野生动物金斑喙凤蝶。这是自2025年首次记录到其活动影像以来，公园连续第二年记录到这一珍稀濒危野生动物的生活影像。
