Guangzhou Cultural & Arts Center Draws Record Holiday Crowds

Art and Culture | During the 2026 May Day holiday, Guangzhou Cultural & Arts Center attracted record-breaking attendance with a rich lineup of immersive cultural activities. The center hosted nearly 100 events, including performances, exhibitions, workshops, and educational programs, drawing around 45,000 visitors overall. On May 1 alone, the venue welcomed 15,706 visitors—the highest single-day attendance since opening in 2023.Popular highlights included the original acrobatic children’s play Sprouting Miracle and the immersive Cantonese opera experience Hello Princess! Visitors also explored Lingnan bonsai exhibitions, coffee-themed activities, and tie-dye workshops, offering a blend of culture and leisure during the holiday. #artandculture

2026年“五一”假期，广州市文化馆开拓沉浸式演绎新空间、融合非遗资源打造生活美学新体验，累计举办演出、展览、体验、研学等各类活动100场次，累计接待群众约4.5万人次，

其中5月1日单日入馆游客量达到15706人次，创下2023年新馆开放以来单日入馆人数新高。大型原创杂技儿童剧《萌动奇迹》、沉浸互动轻粤剧《公主驾到！》叫好又叫座；岭南盆景展览与咖啡、扎染等生活美学体验活动，丰富了市民游客的假期体验。
