A Cultural Carnival Brings New Energy to Shenzhen-Shanwei

Art and Culture | On April 17–18, a Shenzhen-Shanwei cultural carnival kicked off at Tianzishan Farming Park. More than 60 booths lined the lakesfront, featuring intangible cultural heritage crafts such as sugar painting, pour over coffee, live band performances, and parades—turning the park into a lively cultural hub. During the event, a year-round lineup of 575 cultural activities was unveiled, promising seasonal festivals, monthly highlights, and weekly themed events, making culture part of everyday life. The carnival also generated strong economic returns, with some vendors earning up to 5,000 yuan in two days and the park’s revenue seeing significant growth. From industry-driven attraction to culture-led engagement, the Shenzhen-Shanwei Special Cooperation Zone is moving toward a more vibrant cultural future.

4月17-18日，“车城有约 文荟深汕”文化嘉年华在天子山农业公园热力开市！60多个摊位沿湖排开，非遗糖画、手冲咖啡、乐队演出、巡游表演，直接把农业公园变成了文化会客厅。更硬核的是：深汕全年575场文化活动安排也现场发布！四季有盛典、每月有精品、每周有主题，文化不再是节庆“限定款”，而是日常陪伴。咖啡车摊主两天最高营收5000元，公园收入翻了两番。从“跟着产业来深汕”到“跟着文化来深汕”，这座车城的人文方向盘，正在稳稳转动。
