Guangdong's Intangible Heritage Goes Global — Rooted in Tradition, Styled for Today
On January 26, the 2026 themed promotion "Celebrating the Spring Festival with Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) and Savoring the Chinese New Year," together with the ICH Chinese New Year Goods Shopping Month and the "Guangdong Goods Global Reach Guangdong Taste Shared Worldwide" campaign, kicked off in Guangzhou. A rich mix of sights and flavors filled the venue: the aroma of traditional foods in the air, Xiangyunsha flowing lightly, Guangcai porcelain glowing with color, and fine Cantonese embroidery coming to life stitch by stitch. Three themed exhibition zones—"Savoring the Chinese New Year," "New Looks in New Attire," and "China-chic Trendy Goods" —are connected to form a large-scale, immersive marketplace for intangible cultural heritage.




1月26日,2026年“非遗贺新春·寻味中国年”暨非遗年货购物月“广货行天下 美食在广东”主题推广活动在广州启幕。美食飘香、云纱轻舞、广彩流光、绣笔生辉……“寻味中国年”“华衣焕新颜”“国风潮好物”三大主题展区,串联构成超大规模“非遗赶潮集”。
