Guangdong’s Own “Route 318”: Discover the Beauty Along 218 Highway

Stretching 218 kilometers in the shape of "8", the highway in Huizhou's Nankun Mountain-Luofu Mountain Pioneer Area unfolds like a flowing landscape painting. Known as one of Guangdong's "Most Scenic Tourism Highway", it is also a “golden corridor”for rural revitalization. Driving along the route, travelers pass the clear waters of Xiangang Reservoir, glide beneath the shade of centuries-old banyan trees, and pause at peaceful homestays amid rice fields. What comes into view is not only natural scenery, but also a vivid example of the project “Hundred, Thousand, and Ten Thousand Project” in action across Guangdong.
