Foshan, Guangdong: When Pharaoh and Egyptian Cat Meet Lingnan Culture

Art and Culture｜A unique cultural encounter has recently unfolded at Foshan Xintiandi. The Hong Kong Palace Museum's "Ancient Egypt Unveiled: Treasures from Egyptian Museums" has launched its first Greater Bay Area promotional stop—"The Lingnan Journey of the Pharaoh and the Egyptian Cat". Amid the traditional blue-brick and wok-eared houses, the most eye-catching feature is a large pyramid-shaped art installation. A serene Egyptian cat sits peacefully beneath it, as if guarding the secrets of a civilization from afar. #artandculture

近日，佛山岭南新天地迎来一场别开生面的文化邂逅——香港故宫文化博物馆“古埃及文明大展”大湾区宣传首站“法老与埃及猫的岭南之旅”正式启动。走入岭南新天地的青砖镬耳屋群落间，最吸睛的莫过于一座以金字塔为造型的大型主题艺术装置。一只神态安详的埃及猫静坐其下，仿佛守护着远道而来的文明密码。
