Shawan Ancient Town Hosts Lion Dance Showdown Across Guangdong, Hong Kong & Macau

On December 6, the 2025 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Traditional Lion Dance Invitational Tournament officially kicked off in Shawan Ancient Town, Panyu. Twelve teams from across the GBA took turns performing to showcase their skills. Shawan Ancient Town simultaneously transformed into a Lion Dance Culture Experience Park. Visitors touched the colorful lion head tassels and tried to imitate lion dance steps, while children, guided by intangible cultural heritage inheritors, experienced the exquisite craftsmanship of making lion heads.

12月6日，2025粤港澳（番禺）醒狮邀请赛在番禺沙湾古镇正式拉开帷幕。来自粤港澳地区的12支队伍轮番上阵，在由18根高桩组成的“十八罗汉阵”上展露绝技。沙湾古镇同步化身为醒狮文化体验园。游客们抚摸狮头彩绒，尝试模仿舞狮步法；孩子们在非遗传承人指导下，体验狮头扎作的精巧工艺。
