Over 80 Teams from Around the World Gather in Shantou to Compete for the Title of “World Master Chefs for Cantonese Cuisine”

Lingnan Cuisine| On November 22, the 5th World Master Chefs Competition for Cantonese Cuisine kicked off grandly in Shantou. The event features three major categories—Cantonese Cuisine Division, Fusion Chinese Cuisine Division, and Chaozhou Cuisine Division, and has attracted more than 80 teams from around the world, including over 30 international teams from countries such as Canada, Portugal, Finland, and the United States. Together, they are presenting a culinary event that showcases international standards, highlights Chaoshan characteristics, and is filled with cultural warmth.

11月22日，2025第五届世界粤菜厨皇大赛在汕头隆重开赛，设粤菜、融合中菜、潮菜三大菜系赛道，吸引了来自世界各地的80多支队伍参加，其中包括来自加拿大、葡萄牙、芬兰、美国等30多支国外参赛队伍，共同呈现一届彰显国际水准、深植潮汕特色、充满人文温情的粤菜餐饮盛会。
