Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport opens Terminal 3

City Life | On October 30, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport officially put its Terminal 3 and fifth runway into operation, marking the start of its “five runways + three terminals” era. It has now become China’s first civil airport with five commercial runways, further boosting the development of a world-class airport cluster in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area. Designed as a tribute to Guangzhou's nickname "city of flowers", Terminal 3's architecture evokes a blooming blossom, weaving in imagery of the Pearl River and Baiyun Mountain. The result is a landmark meant to symbolize the city's urban gateway image.

10月30日，广州白云国际机场T3航站楼和第五跑道正式投运，开启“五条跑道+三座航站楼”运行，成为中国民航首个拥有五条商用跑道的机场，助力粤港澳大湾区世界级机场群加速形成。T3航站楼建筑造型以“花”为设计主题，融入“云山珠水”“花城”的广州特点，建筑造型如鲜花盛放，形成“羊城花冠”的建筑意象。
