385km/h! Guangzhou-Zhanjiang High-Speed Railway Reaches Record Speed in Test

City Life | On October 19, the Guangzhou–Zhanjiang High-speed Railway initiated its highest-speed test for a single EMU on the Guangzhou–Yangchundong section, with the inspection train successfully recording a test speed of 385 km/h that day.

Stretching 401 kilometers with a design speed of 350 km/h, the Guangzhou–Zhanjiang High-speed Railway serves as a crucial high-speed rail link connecting the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area to the Hainan Free Trade Port and the Beibu Gulf urban cluster.

10月19日，广湛高铁广州至阳春东段开启单列动车组最高测试速度等级提速试验，当天，检测列车顺利跑出时速385公里的试验值。广湛高铁全长401公里，设计时速350公里，是连接粤港澳大湾区和海南自由贸易港、北部湾城市群高速铁路大通道的重要组成部分。
