Lingnan: Beauty Beyond Borders | Recently, volunteers from the Zhanjiang Bird Watching Society joyfully observed two Spoon-billed Sandpipers—a Class I protected species in China. These birds mark the earliest autumn migration record on the Leizhou Peninsula this year, and their timely return has deeply reassured conservationists. Known affectionately as "little spoons" for their distinctive beak shape, they were captured on camera foraging leisurely, strolling across mudflats, preening and bathing, adding a vibrant and lively scenery to the coastline. #SplendidLingnan

近日，湛江市爱鸟协会志愿者惊喜观测到两只国家一级保护动物——勺嘴鹬。这是今年雷州半岛记录到的最早一批秋迁勺嘴鹬，它们的如期归来，让爱鸟人士倍感欣慰。被称为“小勺子”的勺嘴鹬，在镜头中时而悠闲觅食、漫步滩涂，时而梳羽嬉水、灵动可爱，为海岸线增添了一道生机盎然的风景。
