Fish Skin Salad, Passed Down Through Generations: A Taste of Alleyway Life
Chilled, crispy fish skin is paired with a time-honored secret-recipe soy sauce, topped with peanuts, shredded scallions, and ginger… This authentic snack, "Fish Skin Salad", can be found at Chen Tian Ji, tucked away in the alleys of Guangzhou’s Xiguan area. Founded in 1979 by Chen Chengtian from Shunde, Foshan, Chen Tian Ji is the designated protection unit for the the “Xiguan Fish Skin Salad Making Technique,” recognized as part of the eighth batch of district-level intangible cultural heritage projects in Liwan District.




冰冻爽脆鱼皮搭上祖传秘制豉油,配上花生、葱丝、姜丝……地道小吃“祖传爽鱼皮”,能从广州西关小巷中的“陈添记”寻得。“陈添记”由佛山顺德人陈程添在1979年创立,是广州荔湾区第八批区级非遗代表性项目“西关凉拌鱼皮制作技艺”保护单位。
