Guangdong Safeguards 584 Wild Bird Species with Protective Initiatives

As a vital corridor for migratory birds in China, Guangdong hosts 584 historically recorded wild bird species, 412 of which are migratory. Launching a province-wide conservation initiative from now until November 15 and yearly from September to April, the region is forging a thriving habitat where humanity and nature coexist in harmony.

广东是国内候鸟迁徙的重要通道，全省历史记录有野生鸟类584种，其中具有迁徙属性的鸟类412种。广东自即日起至今年11月15日以及每年9月至次年4月开展全省鸟类保护工作，打造人与自然和谐共生的美好家园。
