Main Tower Construction Reaches Halfway Point for Key GBA Project: Shiziyang Bridge

City Life | Since the start of this year, the Shiziyang Tunnel project in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has entered its peak construction phase. On July 29, the installation of the T32 steel shell segment was completed on the east tower of the Shiziyang Bridge, which is the world's tallest double-deck suspension bridge. With this milestone, both east and west towers now exceed the halfway mark at 171.1 meters, paving the way for tower capstone installation in the first half of next year and ensuring steady project progress.#citylife

今年以来，粤港澳大湾区重点工程狮子洋通道全面进入建设高峰期。7月29日， 世界最高双层悬索桥——狮子洋大桥东主塔完成T32钢壳节段吊装，至此东、西主塔建设高度均过半，达171.1米，为明年上半年桥塔封顶、项目顺利推进奠定坚实基础。
