On the evening of February 28, a haunting cultural show titled "Peking opera and Cantonese Opera Singing in the Greater Bay Area" was held at the Hung Sin Nui Grand Theater in the new site of Guangzhou Cantonese Opera Theater.

Artists from the five major operas—Peking Opera, Cantonese Opera, Kunqu Opera, Wuju Opera(Jinhua opera), Qinqiang Opera—performed on the same stage, jointly presenting the extraordinary charm of opera.

From the event, we learned that the 31st Plum Blossom Award would be finalized in Guangzhou in May 2023, and the ceremony of the 9th China Theater Awards (comprises the Plum Blossom Award for stage performance and the Cao Yu Theater Award for writing) would also be held in Guangzhou.

第31届中国戏剧梅花奖签约仪式

2月28日晚，“京腔粤韵 唱响湾区”文艺演出活动在广州粤剧院新址内的红线女大剧院举办。京、粤、昆、婺、秦腔五个剧种的演员同台飙戏，共同呈现戏曲的非凡魅力。

我们从活动上了解到，第31届中国戏剧梅花奖现场终评将于2023年5月在穗开幕，还将举办第九届中国戏剧奖（第31届中国戏剧梅花奖、第25届曹禺剧本奖）颁奖典礼。
