Over Lingdingyang, the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge sets five records

Lingnan: Beauty Beyond Borders | #Lingdingyang is an important shipping channel in the Pearl River Estuary and one of the busiest shipping channels in the world, with an operational capacity of 300,000 tonnes. On this world-class shipping channel, the #Shenzhen-Zhongshan Bridge, as the world's longest span fully offshore steel box girder suspension bridge (main span of 1666 meters), with a 270-metre-high main tower, which is equivalent to the height of a 90-storey building, has set five world records. It also receives the George R. Richardson Award from the #International Bridge Conference, known as the "Nobel Prize" of the bridge industry. #SplendidLingnan

伶仃洋海域是珠江口的重要航运通道，也是世界上最繁忙的航运通道之一，运行（通航）能力达到30万吨级。就在这个世界级航道上，主跨1666米的世界最大跨径全离岸海中钢箱梁悬索桥——深中大桥主塔高270米，相当于90层楼高，创造了5项世界纪录。它也成为广东首个获得桥梁界诺奖“乔治·理查德森奖”的大桥。
