Huitong Village, Zhuhai: A village with rich history and ancient charm

Nestled at the foot of Phoenix Mountain and amidst the bustling city, lies a tranquil and idyllic #village: Huitong Village in Tangjiawan Town, #Zhuhai High-Tech Zone. Established in the tenth year of Emperor Yongzheng's reign in the Qing Dynasty (1732), it has been the best-preserved #ancient village in Zhuhai. The village features #traditional #Lingnan-style houses arranged in an orderly fashion, with a checkerboard layout of "three streets and eight alleys". Two DiaoLou stand face to face from north to south, while three grand ancestral halls line up in a row.
