Guangzhou Baiyun Airport to open 17 international routes in 2nd half of 2024

Lingnan: Beauty Beyond Borders | From January to May this year, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport received a total of 30.879 million passengers, with the domestic and international portions reaching 114% and 71% of the same period in 2019, respectively. The airport will launch 17 international and regional routes in the second half of this year, including new routes from Guangzhou to Gatwick Airport in London and Perth, Australia, and resuming routes from Guangzhou to Adelaide, Phu Quoc Island, and Surabaya. It is expected that by 2025, the total output value of Guangzhou's aviation and related industries will exceed 100 billion yuan, promoting the high-quality development of the Guangzhou Aviation Hub. 

今年1-5月，广州白云机场共完成旅客吞吐量3087.9万人次，国内和国际部分分别恢复至2019年同期的114%和71%。白云机场今年下半年将开通多达17条国际及地区航线。其中新开广州至伦敦盖特威克、澳大利亚珀斯等航线，复航广州至阿德莱德、富国岛、泗水等航线。预计到2025年，广州的航空及相关产业总产值将突破1000亿元，实现从“枢纽流量”到“枢纽经济”的迭代。
