The Chepi Village Dragon Boat Race was held to celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival

Lingnan: Beauty Beyond Borders | To celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival and welcome the arrival of the 15th National Games, the Chepi Village Dragon Boat Race was held on the morning of the 5th of June. Twelve dragon boat teams from Chepi Village in Tianhe District of Guangzhou City competed fiercely, staging an annual carnival feast of dragon boat races.

The Dragon Boat Race in Chepi Village is a typical representative of the Canton Dragon Boat Culture, and the "Chepi dragon boat scene" has been listed as a provincial intangible cultural heritage. The Chepi Dragon Boat Race is known as the Mini Guangzhou Dragon Boat Race’, gathering dragon boat athletes from inside and outside Chepi Village and even the Pearl River Delta region to participate in the race, which is both competitive and ornamental.

为庆祝端午佳节，迎接第十五届全国运动会的到来，“2024一水同舟?车陂端午龙舟盛会”于6月5日上午激情开赛，广州市天河区车陂村内12支龙舟队展开激烈角逐，上演一场赛龙夺锦的年度狂欢盛宴。

车陂村传承至今的“扒龙舟”项目是广府龙舟文化中的典型代表，2022年“车陂龙舟景”被列为广东省非物质文化遗产代表性项目。车陂龙舟赛素有“小广州赛”的美誉，云集了车陂村内外乃至珠江三角地区的龙舟运动选手参赛，兼具竞技性和观赏性。
