Dragon Boat Festival is approaching, and it’s time to awaken the “hidden dragon”! Nansha wetland dragon boat launching ceremony started 

Art and Culture | On May 27, a dragon boat launching ceremony was held at the #Nansha Wetland Scenic Area in Guangzhou. The festive atmosphere of the #Dragon Boat Festival has arrived ahead of schedule, and the on-site sight is full of ceremony! Dragon boat launching is a traditional folk ceremony held in the #Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area before the Dragon Boat Festival race. On site, 22 representatives from various dragon boat teams jointly lifted the dragon boat to the dock, carefully cleaned it, connected the dragon head and tail, and the contestants sprinkled lemongrass “holy water” on the dragon boat to pray for blessings. Then, they made the finishing touch, beat drums and gongs, and returned to the dragon boat three times before launching it into the water. After the dragon boat launching ceremony, an #intangible cultural heritage experience activity was also organized on site, and a group of lucky citizens and tourists took the lead in visiting. #artandculture

5月27日，广州南沙湿地景区举行龙舟下水仪式。端午节的喜庆氛围提前到来，现场仪式感满满！龙舟下水是粤港澳大湾区在端午赛龙舟前必隆重举行的传统民俗仪式。现场来自各龙舟队的22名队员代表共同将龙舟抬至码头，仔细擦洗后，接上龙头、龙尾，参赛选手为龙舟撒上香茅“圣水”祈福，而后画龙点睛、击鼓鸣锣，三次回龙、龙舟下水。龙舟下水仪式后，现场还组织了非遗文化体验活动，一批幸运的市民游客抢先打卡。
