"Boulenophrys elongata spd"! A New Species Discovered in Eastern Guangdong

Lingnan: Beauty Beyond Borders | Recently, the #Biodiversity Team of Guangdong Polytechnic of Environmental Protection Engineering discovered a new species called the "Boulenophrys elongata spd" in the Lianhua Mountains of ##Guangdong. The relevant research findings have been published in the international #academic journal "Asian Herpetological Research". The Boulenophrys elongata spd inhabits stream areas at altitudes of 700 to 1,000 metres, and has an elongated body and limbs, exhibiting significant differences from known #species of horned toad species in eastern Guangdong.#SplendidLingnan

近日，广东环境保护工程职业学院生物多样性团队在广东莲花山脉发现了新物种“莲峰角蟾”，相关科研成果已在国际学术期刊《亚洲两栖爬行动物学研究》（英文版）发表。莲峰角蟾栖息在700至1000米海拔的小溪流区域，身体和四肢纤长，与粤东地区已知的布角蟾属物种存在显著差异。
