'The Peony Pavilion' all set to be staged at the Guangzhou Opera House 

Art and Culture | From March 29 to 30, the #Shanghai Kunqu Opera Troupe will perform the full version of 'The Peony Pavilion' on the stage of the #Guangzhou Opera House. The huge #performance volume of nearly eight hours in two days and three shows will present the original essence of Tang Xianzu's work to the Guangzhou audience, restoring the elegance of #Kunqu and leading the audience into the beautiful dream of four hundred years ago. The product team introduces that the performance will respect and show the charm of the most authentic and magnificent original #lyrics. The 'Tang Poems' at the end of each play will also be presented on stage for the first time, fully demonstrating the ingenuity of Tang Xianzu. #artandculture

3月29-30日，上海昆剧团（以下简称“上昆”）将在广州大剧院的舞台上唱响全本55出《牡丹亭》。两天三场近八小时的巨大演出体量，将为羊城观众呈现汤翁原著精髓，复原昆曲风流雅韵，带领观众步入那场四百年前的唯美幻梦。主创团队介绍，本次制作以忠于原著精髓之原则演绎原汁原味的瑰丽曲词，原著每出戏末的“集唐诗”也将首次呈现于舞台之上，全面展现汤显祖的匠心独运。
