“Dancing Chinese Dragons” will debut in Huizhou on the Lantern Festival

Art and culture | From February 23 to 24, the national event "Dancing Chinese Dragons”, a dragon dancing parade will be held in Huizhou, #Guangdong, namely the #Dragon Dance Parade and the# non-Heritage #performance.

"Dancing Chinese Dragons" will be held on the morning of February 24 (the 15th day of the first month according to the Lunar Calendar). The five square #parade will bring 18 national intangible cultural heritage projects of dragon dance from 12 provinces (including autonomous regions and municipalities), 2 dragon dance and lion dance teams from Hong Kong and #Macao, and 31 intangible cultural heritage projects in Guangdong. The parade covers 3.6 kilometers. More than 1,200 people will participate in the event, including 71 representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage.

The non-Heritage performance will be held on the evening of February 23 (14th of the first lunar month) in the Huizhou Sports Center in #Huicheng.

Performers of Tongliang Dragon Dance, Changxing Baiye Dragon, Quzhou Dragon Lantern, Banban Dragon #Lantern, and other provincial and municipal intangible cultural heritage representative projects of dragon dance are invitedto perform, along with performers of Guangdong Puning #YinggeDance, Huidong Fisherman’s Song and other national intangible cultural heritage representative projects. They are expected to provide the #audience with a unique experience of #Chinese romance, featuring "a night of fish and dragon dance". #artandculture

2月23日至24日，“舞动中国龙”——龙舞大巡游全国主会场活动将在广东省惠州市举办，主要有两项重点内容，分别是“舞动中国龙”——龙舞大巡游和“多彩非遗闹元宵”展演。

“舞动中国龙”——龙舞大巡游将于2月24日（正月十五）上午举行，巡游队伍共五大方阵，汇集12个省（区、市）共18个龙舞类国家级非遗代表性项目，香港、澳门2支龙舞狮舞队伍，以及广东省内31个非遗项目组成的特色队伍参加。巡游全程总计3.6公里，共有71位非遗代表性传承人在内的1200余人参加。

“多彩非遗闹元宵”展演将于2月23日（正月十四）晚在惠州市惠城区中心体育广场举办。演出邀请铜梁龙舞、长兴百叶龙、曲周龙灯、板板龙灯等部分省市特色龙舞类非遗代表性项目，以及广东的普宁英歌、惠东渔歌等国家级非遗代表性项目进行展演，为广大观众奉上一场共赏“一夜鱼龙舞”的中国式浪漫。
