Traditional folklore enlivens Chinese New Year in Jieyang: stunning Yingge dance presents a visual feast

2月11日（农历正月初二）至2月12日（农历正月初三），作为“中华战舞?普天同庆”普宁英歌文化节系列活动的重头戏，中华战舞——英歌舞在揭阳普宁市区全城巡演，上演最帅“炸街”。两天的时间里，众多文娱队伍在普宁市区巡演，为市民献上美好的新年祝福，展现揭阳普宁独特的文化魅力。队员们画着戏剧脸谱，展现着豪迈奔放的舞姿，锣鼓声、呼喊声、喝彩声响彻大街小巷。巡演场面恢宏、阵势多样、套路多变、声震寰宇，气势磅礴，营造出传统新年欢乐喜庆的氛围。

From February 11thto 12th, as the highlight of the Puning Yingge Cultural Day, the powerful and energetic traditional Chinese Yingge dance was performed throughout Jieyang city, presenting a visual feast in the street. Over the two days, numerous cultural and entertainment troupes paraded through the downtown of Puning,extending the best New Year wishes to the citizens and showcasing the unique cultural charm of Jieyang.With facial makeupin traditional Chinese opera, the performers danced, withdrums,gongs, shouts and cheers resoundingthrough the streets and alleys. With diverse formations,the magnificentparade createsa joyful festive atmosphere for the traditional Chinese New Year.
