Guangdong's key attractions receive 789,000 visitors as the Chinese New Year starts

On the first day of the Chinese New Year holiday, Guangdong warmly welcomed visitors with its pleasant climate, wellness offerings, delicious food, unique culture, and hospitality, creating a strong local-style festive atmosphere. On February 10th, 150 key tourist attractions in Guangdong received a total of 789,000 visitors, marking a 16.6% increase year-on-year and a 2.5% rise compared to 2019. Moreover, 4A and 5A tourist attractions welcomed 1.214 million visitors, up by 12.4% year-on-year. Additionally, 14 key sections of ancient postal road attractions welcomed 436,000 visitors, marking a significant 35.1% increase year-on-year and a 0.8% rise from 2019.

春节假期首日，广东用暖冬的温度、康养的温度、美食的温度、文化的温度、待客的温度，喜迎八方来客，营造浓厚的“粤式”节日氛围。2024年春节假期第一天（2月10日），广东纳入监测的150家重点景区共接待游客78.9万人次，同比增长16.6%（均按可比口径，下同），较2019年增长2.5%；全省4A级及以上景区接待游客121.4万人次，同比增长12.4%；纳入监测的14段古驿道重点区域接待游客43.6万人次，同比增长35.1%，较2019年增长0.8%；
