今年以来，潮州全力推进绿美潮州生态建设。凤凰山茶旅走廊绿色通道林、饶平风吹岭山、国有红山林场风景林、湘桥紫莲山油茶公园等4个示范点建设完毕，森林覆盖率达59.48%。

另一方面，潮州大力发展绿色康养、森林旅游等新业态，打造古道林乡片区和叫水坑绿美森林秘境，开发潮安区凤凰镇茶山小镇、茶园观光、茶道游览等系列旅游产品，让潮州变成绿美画卷，吸引游客游玩、带动当地民众增收致富。
