The New “Cotton Tree Flower” Unleash Poetry and Dreams

Lingnan: Beauty Beyond Borders| In the Lingnan Art Collection, an era of prosperity blooms. On the evening of Nov 29, the opening ceremony was held at the new building of the Guangzhou Museum of Art. Soaring five floors above ground, the building features a central courtyard measuring 45.4 meters, with daylight streaming in from the dome, creating a natural cave ambiance. Designed around the theme of "red cotton tree flowers blooming in water", the architectural marvel comes to life at night.

At night, the curtain wall lights up, adorned with 21,008 fish-scale-shaped photovoltaic glass pieces and colored aluminum panels, emitting a radiant glow. The splendid "petals" emit enchanting brilliance, adding a touch of poetry and dreams to the skyline, harmonizing with the adjacent Canton Tower. The main building's glass radiates light at night, resembling colored flowers. #SplendidLingnan

岭南艺藏，盛世花开。11月29日晚，在广州艺术博物院（广州美术馆）新馆举办开馆仪式。广州艺术博物院（广州美术馆）新馆地上五层，中庭45.4米，天光从穹顶倾泻，仿若一个天然的大洞穴。管体建筑以“水中盛放的英雄花”为主题。夜晚，幕墙灯光亮起，21008片鱼鳞状的光伏玻璃以及彩色铝板在发光在反射。美轮美奂的“花瓣”发出迷人的光彩，视野飞升，与不远处的小蛮腰交相辉映，给人留下无限的诗与梦。主楼建筑玻璃自带彩色铝板，夜晚灯光透出宛如彩色花朵。
