Upgraded version of Dancing Lingnan staged in Guangzhou

On 10 and 11 November, Guangzhou Song and Dance Theater staged four consecutive shows of the upgraded version of Dancing Lingnan at the Guangzhou Beilei Theater. Among them, the mini-drama piece Yingge made its public debut. It is inspired by the Yingge dance and integrates the folk culture of Chaoshan, such as Yingge dance, opera, Chu Hua Yuan, and wood carving. The mini-drama piece also contains the spiritual temperament of loyalty, filial piety, etiquette, and righteousness.

This new and upgraded version of Dancing Lingnan stages wonderful excerpts from the dance drama, Dragon Boat, letting the audience enjoy more masterpieces. The drama won the Outstanding Drama series of the 14th National Dance Exhibition and was staged at the National Centre for the Performing Arts in early September this year as part of the Beijing Premiere exhibition.#artandculture

11月10-11日，广州歌舞剧院升级版《舞韵岭南》将在广州蓓蕾剧院连演4场。其中，小舞剧《英歌》首次公开亮相，该剧以潮阳英歌为创作灵感，不仅融汇英歌、戏曲、出花园、木雕等潮汕民俗文化，更包含忠、孝、礼、义的精神气质。

本次全新升级版《舞韵岭南》上演舞剧《龙·舟》精彩选段，让观众欣赏到更多佳作。该剧荣获第十四届全国舞蹈展演优秀剧目奖，并于今年9月初作为“大戏看北京”展演剧目在国家大剧院上演。
