The five bronze Chinese zodiac animal heads reunited in the Old Summer Palace

After 163 years, four of the twelve Chinese zodiac animal heads collected by the Poly Art Museum, the ox, monkey, tiger, and pig heads have returned to the Old Summer Palace. Together with the horse head collected by the Old Summer Palace management office, they will be displayed in a special exhibition of the five bronze Chinese zodiac animal heads of the Old Summer Palace. The special red copper material, exquisite production technology, and ingenious structural design of those bronze heads possess high cultural, artistic, aesthetic, and technological value, both at that time and more than a hundred years later. #artandculture
