Guangdong lights up Kashgar teenagers’ basketball dreams

#TheGreatBeautyofGuangdong Located on the Xiaoyalang site in eastern Kashgar, the basketball park covers an area of more than 26,000 square meters. It is the first basketball theme park project in Kashgar that was built under the cooperation of Guangdong and Xinjiang. “This is the first basketball park in Kashgar and the best basketball court. We used to train on the open ground,” said a student from a local high school. Besides playing basketball on the court, she and her family come over here for a walk every week. She noted: “The park is also equipped with parking lots, such as motor parking spaces, charging piles, as well as swimming pools, and garden landscapes. It is very convenient.” After learning that the basketball park was constructed by Guangdong, she said: “I like playing basketball very much and I love Guangdong. I plan to visit Guangdong once I graduate.”

篮球公园位于喀什市东城小亚郎地块，占地面积2.6万多平方米，是粤新两地同力合作下迅速推进喀什地区首个篮球主题公园项目。“这是喀什第一个篮球公园，也是最好的篮球场。以前我们训练都是在空地上。”喀什第四中学学生苏麦耶·阿不里可木说，除了打球之外，自己和家人每周都会过来散步。“公园还配备了停车场，有机动车位、充电桩等，还有游泳馆、园林景观等，十分方便。”在得知篮球公园的建设背后是广东力量之后，苏麦耶“我很喜欢打篮球，也很喜欢广东。等我毕业后一定要去广东玩。”
