“Wing Chun” all set to be staged in Huizhou!
From 13th to 15th, October, the dance drama “Wing Chun”, one of the major events of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Culture and Arts Festival, will be staged at Huizhou Cultural Arts Center.“Wing Chun” started from Shenzhen to more than 20 cities in China, including Beijing, Shanghai, Changsha, Wuhan, and Zhengzhou, which was so popular that it was hard to get a ticket.
“Wing Chun” tells a story around the traditional Chinese martial art also called “Wing Chun”. It unfolds as a two-line narrative about a Shenzhen-based theater crew filming the movie of “Wing Chun”. One of the highlights of this drama is the combination of Wing Chun and Xiang Yun Sha (Gambiered Canton Gauze), two intangible cultural heritages in Guangdong. The mix of Lingnan aesthetics and Lingnan martial arts spirit has innovated the expression of traditional cultural essence. #artandculture
10月13日-15日，作为大湾区文化艺术节重磅活动之一的《咏春》将登台惠州文化艺术中心，连演3场。这部舞剧从深圳出发，一路走过北京、上海、长沙、武汉、郑州等全国20多个城市，场场火爆，一票难求。舞剧《咏春》是一个围绕中国传统武术咏春拳展开的故事，以双线叙事展开，讲述的是一个深圳剧组拍摄电影《咏春》的经历。这部舞剧的一大亮点，在于活化运用了咏春拳、香云纱两项十分具有岭南特色的非遗项目。岭南美学和岭南武学精神的诠释，让传统内核得到创新表达。
