Luoding Academy in Yunfu: Enjoy the beauty of books with a gentle breeze

#TheGreatBeautyofGuangdong Built in 1647, the Luoding Academy is a provincially protected cultural relic in Guangdong. In 1938, amid the chaos of war, teachers and students from Sun Yat-sen University fled to Luoding and continued their studies at the academy. Despite the tumult of those years, the sound of reading could be heard echoing through its halls. Today, in front of its gate, two ancient trees stretch over the red walls. One tree boasts lush, verdant branches and leaves, while the other twists and turns with tangled, gnarled limbs.

罗定学宫修建于1647年，是广东省级文物保护单位。1938年，国立中山大学的师生为躲避战火，继续办学，曾迁移罗定。在战火纷飞的岁月里，这里响起不断的读书声。时至今日，罗定学宫门前，依旧有两棵古树越过红色的院墙显露出来，一棵树枝繁叶茂、葱茏欲滴，一棵树蜿蜒曲折、枯枝繁乱。
