Reviving the literary ambiance of the Luoding Academy

#TheGreatBeautyofGuangdong The Luoding Academy, built in 1647, is a significant cultural heritage site in Guangdong. During the war in 1938, the faculty and students of Sun Yat-sen University sought refuge in Luoding, where they continued their educational pursuits. Throughout the turbulent years, the corridors of the Luoding Academy resounded with the continuous echoes of scholarly endeavors. Today, the gate of the Luoding Academy still stands on the grayish-blue tiles, with the Dacheng Hall exuding a quiet and solemn atmosphere. Many centuries have weathered the once-magnificent building, but its significance remains. As the sun sets, the light gently bathes the pavilions and eaves, imbuing them with a sense of history and antiquity. The dragon sculptures on the rooftop bear witness to the literary legacy that has been preserved here for generations.

罗定学宫修建于1647年，是广东省级文物保护单位。1938年，国立中山大学的师生为躲避战火，继续办学，曾迁移罗定。罗定学宫在战火纷飞的岁月里，响起不断的读书声。

时至今日，走到罗定学宫门前，站在青灰色的地砖上，曾经金碧辉煌的大成殿在历史风雨的洗刷下，变得内敛而深沉。随着日落，薄暮的余晖洒落人间，在这里伴着古意静静地流淌在楼阁和飞檐之上，屋脊上的灰塑游龙，见证着文脉悠长。
