The Chinese state council recently released the "Development Plan for the Shenzhen Park of the Hetao Shenzhen-Hong Kong Science and Technology Innovation Cooperation Zone", attracting much attention from home and abroad alike.

With a total area of 3.89 square kilometers, the zone includes a 3.02-square-kilometer Shenzhen Park and a 0.87-square-kilometer Hong Kong Park. Oriented towards technological innovation, this special zone stands as the only distinctive platform in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area (GBA). As the fourth major cooperation platform after Hengqin, Qianhai, and Nansha in the GBA, the zone promises a brighter future for technological cooperation between Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
