GrandGongs andDrums Parade on Pai Fang Street in Chaozhou

NewYearinLingnan On Jan. 27, 2023, Pai Fang Street in Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province was abuzz with visitors.

Known as the most distinctive ancient city street in Chaozhou, Pai Fang Street is a cultural and historical place that features intangible cultural heritage, traditional crafts, and local snacks. Even at the fag end of the Spring Festival, the street was festive with the sounds of gongs and drums. The Chihu gong and drum team from Fengxi District performed a cultural parade featuring Chaozhou's big gongs and drums.
