South China Sea Fishing Season Ignites a New Wave of Coastal Tourism Craze

After a more than three-month closure for the seasonal fishing ban, the bustling South China Sea Fishing Festival heralds the start of a seafood feast. Along the Guangdong coast, fishing festivals have become the best supply for people's dining tables during this time, featuring countless irresistible seafood delicacies, such as stewed chicken soup with abalone and braised sea cucumber with dried scallops. The single word "fresh" is not sufficient to describe the charm and tastes of the array of mouthwatering seafood delicacies. According to a member of the local travel agency staff, the exclusive fishing festival routes have garnered the most attention. "Tourists can go fishing, crabbing, and savor freshly cooked seafood," said the staffer.  #LingnanCuisine

近日，从阳江到茂名、湛江、珠海、汕尾、东莞……经历了三个多月的南海伏季休渔期，热闹的南海开渔节以锣鼓喧天的气势吹响“海鲜大战”及“贴秋膘”的号角——在吸引游客前往各渔港进行渔获尝鲜的同时，引发了新一波滨海旅游打卡的热潮。在广东沿海，各地开渔节成为此时人们餐桌最好的供给，石斛鲍鱼炖鸡汤、瑶柱扒海参、炆鱼丸鱼腐……数不清的令人食指大动的海鲜美味，怎一个“鲜”字能够概括。据广东旅行社工作人员介绍，当前滨海主题相关产品中，开渔节限定线路最受关注，“游客可以亲自出海钓鱼捕蟹，逗趣河豚，现煮现吃，品尝渔获。”
