A total of 6,092 voyages were made on the four routes, handling 906,000 passenger trips from January to June, said Fujian Maritime Safety Administration.
The Xiamen-Kinmen route remains the busiest, accounting for 814,000 passengers, a 46.3 percent year-on-year increase.
The passenger trips made between Quanzhou and Kinmen surged by 185.1 percent to 48,000.
