A national short video base, jointly built by China Media Group (CMG) and the government of east China's Zhejiang Province, was unveiled on Friday, accompanied by content plans for high-quality video products.
The base, located at the hub for creative cultural industries in the provincial capital Hangzhou, will fully leverage CMG and the city's strengths in cloud computing, artificial intelligence (AI) and digital economy to promote sci-tech innovation and industrial collaboration so as to generate more high-quality cultural products.
It will also be equipped with an AI production experimental workshop to boost video-making capabilities.
The content plans involve events including short video contests, AI-generated video exhibitions and drama script collection to encourage storytelling and video-editing talents and professionals to present their creative ideas.
CMG President Shen Haixiong and other guests attended the opening ceremony.
