The China Fashion Week for the 2024 autumn and winter season kicked off in Beijing on Saturday.

Domestic and foreign designers will hold more than 100 fashion shows during the 9-day event, which runs from March 23 to 31, showcasing the fashion trends of this autumn and winter.

Traditional Chinese aesthetics and intangible cultural heritage innovation will be the spotlights of this year's fashion week, with special release events of creations with cloisonne, Miao embroidery and Song brocade to be highlighted.

The annual event has been organized for 26 years.
