Customized services draw foreign tourists to China 发布日期:2024/5/10 来源:International Daily 打印

Inbound tourism to China soared during the May Day holiday, spurring demand for tailored travel experiences among international tourists.

At Beijing's Temple of Heaven, a group of British tourists, the eldest aged 80, donned traditional Chinese costumes, capturing the attention of many.
"We wanted to get dressed-up from the start, so it fulfilled our wishes," said one British tourist.
They opted for a costumed photo shoot after being charmed by the elegant traditional attire of other visitors.
"They saw many Chinese boys and girls in traditional clothes and eagerly took photos with them. We sometimes explain to them things like horse-faced skirts," said He Nandi, a tour guide with China Tourism Group.
"We really are enjoying it, feel a bit special," said another British tourist.
In Shanghai, exclusive tour guides provided more personalized services to tourists, enhancing city walks with one-on-one interactions.
"I love also city walking, and I like also the crossroad here and building structure here," said a Philippine tourist.
Meanwhile, in Yangshuo County, Guilin, in southern China's Guangxi region, foreign tourists are taking part in activities like cycling, rock climbing, exploring traditional villages, and learning Wushu.
"One of the reasons to come to China is to discover the authentic China," said a Spanish tourist in Guilin.
"The significant change this year is that foreign tourists are not only captivated by Guilin's landscapes but also by the Chinese way of life," said Zhao Yong, manager of China Highlights International Travel Service Co., Ltd.
