Infrared cameras have recently captured footages of wild giant pandas marking their territory and eating in the snow-capped forest in the Baishuijiang area of the Giant Panda National Park in Longnan City, northwest China's Gansu Province.

Workers in the area recently found precious pictures of wild pandas' activities in the snow-capped forests from the footages captured by infrared cameras deployed in the area.
A video clip shows that an adult giant panda is playing joyfully in the snow before leaving marks on a tree trunk.
According to experts, adult giant pandas usually leave their body scents on tree trunks to mark their territory and warn other passing individuals. This marking behavior also helps an adult giant panda with courtship.
Another video clip shows that another panda is happily feasting itself near the camera, exhibiting its adorable character.
According to the data from China’s Fourth National Giant Panda Survey, a total of 111 wild giant pandas are living in the Baishuijiang area.
